What Not To Miss At Bridge Day

Catch all the excitement of Bridge Day— the parachuting BASE jumpers leaping off the bridge, the rappellers raising the flag, the zipliners zooming into the Gorge, the extreme stunt Xpogo team. It\'s an action-packed day.

You can join in the adventuring yourself, hopping aboard a whitewater raftan paddling through therapids to get a unique view of the action from the riverbed below.

Or, if you\'re really feeling adventurous, you can enter the 2013 tandem BASE jump contest, and earn yourself a chance to strap on to a pro and take the jump yourself.And don\'t forget to check out the vendors! They\'ll have games, giveaways and more.

The New River Gorge offers so much more than just Bridge Day. You can make it a weekend, or week-long, getaway this fall.

Stop by the New River Gorge Convention and Visitor\'s Bureau for trail maps to take a hike or bike into the scenic beauty of West Virginia\'s rolling hills, rushing falls and sweeping overlooks. The ladies of the CVB will also be more than happy to tell you about everything there is to do nearby. There\'s something to suit every taste.
