Bridge Day Media Passes
Bridge Day 2026 media information
Bridge Day welcomes professional members of the media who are covering the event for legitimate news, editorial, or documentary purposes. We recognize that today’s media landscape also includes content creators, personal photographers, and social media influencers whose work can help share the Bridge Day experience with a wide audience. While we value that contribution, priority for media credentials will be given to journalists, established outlets, and those working under official media assignments.
All approved media are expected to demonstrate a clear intent to produce and share Bridge Day-related coverage for a public audience and may be asked to submit post-event links or materials documenting their coverage.
Access Points: - Media pass holders may have access to:
Into the Gorge shuttles (from event area on top down to the river)
VIP/Media area at the Jump Zone on top of bridge
Landing Zone - Media Area and Media Boat. NPS Rangers will escort media to boat as available. (see Fayette Station diagram below)
The Bridge Catwalk - Go to the North/ Visitor’s Center side of the Bridge. Bridge Walk staff will need to arrange.
Note: Access to these points are a privilege and not a right, and are at the discretion of the staff working these locations.
All personnel with special access to points on the shuttle, bridge, and in the gorge must submit the following information:
1. Name
2. Home address
3. Date of Birth

All Bridge Day participants are expected to be respectful of other participants and conduct themselves in a collaborative and polite manner
In their sole discretion and without refund, the Fayette County Chamber of Commerce and New River Gorge Bridge Day Commission reserve the right to refuse admittance to or expel anyone from Bridge Day who it determines is engaging in any unacceptable behavior, willful misconduct or recklessness. Unacceptable behavior includes any rude, intimidating, abusive, discriminatory, derogatory, demeaning, violent or harassing conduct.
By registering for an Event, you agree that the Fayette County Chamber of Commerce and its designees shall have the sole discretion to interpret or assess any behavior or conduct of a participant either reported or witnessed at Bridge Day, and to take any and all necessary actions to deal with actions that may violate these terms and conditions, including but not limited to cancelling or terminating an attendee's right to attend or participate in any current or future Bridge Day.
