What Else Can You Do at Bridge Day? (Map)
Bridge Day is only days away! Get your game plan together! Do you know where you\'re staying? Good! Do you know the action sport schedule? Even better! Now, it\'s time to think about what else to see during the festival.
Bridge Day brings in vendors and entertainment from all over! Here\'s a list of vendors and a map of the festivities to give you an idea of where to go and what to expect.
We have so many amazing vendors this year, and we hope you stop by each!
Here are just 10 of the many we\'re looking forward to:
1. Dog Tags from Subaru
Our sponsor, Subaru, will be engraving dog tags for Bridge Day visitors in exchange for donations to the New River Humane Society. Stop by their booths, (1) and get something nice for your pet while doing something to help other animals in need as well. (Plus, it\'s a great way to make it up to Fido for not being allowed to join you at Bridge Day!)
2. BASE chute packing
Do you want to see part of the behind-the-scenes of BASE? Jumpers will be packing their parachutes at booth 13. Watch & learn!
3. Wifi & Certificates from Suddenlink
Want to share your photos? Suddenlink will have a free Wifi hotspot set up at booths 67-69 so you can quickly share your Bridge Day experience. We\'d love if you share your pictures with us, too! You can find us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Use the hashtag #BridgeDay or mention us, @bridgeday.
And, Suddenlink will also give you your own "I Walked the Bridge" certificate to remember your Bridge Day by!
4. Fun Factory Entertainment
Get into the action with a rock climb or a jump on the Fun Factory\'s climbing wall and bounce station at booth 175.
5. Hat from IWI Athletics
Complete your Bridge Day outfit! IWI athletics will be selling official Bridge Day hats at booth 16. Snag the accessory now, sport it on the bridge, then use it next summer to shield your eyes from the sun when you\'re adventuring.
6. 4th Bridge Day Shirt in the Series!
The fourth in the official Bridge Day shirt series will be out this year! Get one at the official Bridge Day tents or at the Sustain U Clothing booth (29), and add it to your collection of commemorative tees.
7. Official Poster
You picked it, now get it while you can! The official 2013 Bridge Day poster, designed (and signed) by rappeller Amber Lehmann, will be at the Bridge Day tents on either end of the bridge.
8. Snyder Chips
Need a snack? Snyder will be giving out samples of various chip flavors! Pick your favorite at booths 189 and 190, and refuel for more Bridge Day fun.
9. More in WV
Not sure what else to do while you\'re in town? Visit WV Tourism at booth 116, or the Southern WV Convention & Visitor\'s Bureau at booth 115, and they can can tell you all about the local attractions, eats, adventure, shopping and more. Let them know what you\'re interested in, and they can help you plan the rest of your New River Gorge trip!
10. Free Books
New River Episcopal Ministry will be giving out free children\'s books at booth 140 for kids and families! Pick one up and read it together later. That\'s not even close to all. Freebies, raffles, giveaways, games— SO many of this year\'s vendors are bringing something exciting for you to do. Because that\'s what it\'s all about: fun!
In addition to these few we\'ve listed, local crafters will be selling handmade goods, food vendors will be serving up dishes of all sorts, and organizations will be giving out useful information.
Seriously, there are 130+ booths. You won\'t run our of things to do or see.
